I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. PCSO Flower has attended School Lane today at the end of the school day, this is a strong reminder that we all appreciate that school pick up and drop off time is very busy and can be stressful. Its important to be reminded that there is a sign in place on Glen Vale Dronfield. This sign is encouraging parents and carers to NOT drive up this road between the times on the sign in the interest of children and everyone safety. Dronfield SNT continue to work closely with both school and would encourage drivers to follow these instructions and make the area safer for everyone. Please also consider the impact of where you park to other road users and local residents too. A number of parking infringement notices have also been issued on vehicles blocking pavements or causing further parking concerns.
